Upperville, VA – The prize list for the 2025 Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) Regional Horse Show & USHJA Zone 3 Championship at the Salem Farm Showgrounds in Upperville, VA, on October 16-19 is available online at www.WIHS.org/wihs-regional. Entries are now open until Tuesday, September 30, 2025. New this year, competitors will use Show Management System to enter the WIHS Regional Horse Show as well as for live updates and results during the show.

A popular and competitive show in its own right, the WIHS Regional Horse Show offers classes for hunters, jumpers, and equitation and includes the opportunity for exhibitors to compete at the 2025 Washington International Horse Show at The Show Place Arena at Prince George’s Equestrian Center, which will run Monday, October 20, through Sunday, October 26. Grand champions in the Children’s and Adult Hunter and Jumper divisions will automatically qualify for the WIHS Championships at The Show Place Arena, and top entries in the WIHS Regional Hunter and WIHS Regional Pony Hunter divisions will automatically qualify for the WIHS Regional Hunter Finals and WIHS Regional Pony Hunter Finals at the prestigious 67th annual WIHS.

The WIHS Regional Horse Show is recognized by US Equestrian, United States Hunter Jumper Association, Virginia Horse Shows Association, and Maryland Horse Shows Association. In addition to regional competition, the USHJA Zone 3 Championship will be held on Sunday, October 19, with hunter and jumper sections.
The WIHS Regional Horse Show will once again support Teach for America as its charity partner.

- NEW! Training jumper rounds on Wednesday, October 15, and expanded jumper classes on Thursday, October 16
- Maryland Horse Shows Association (MHSA) Gittings Horsemanship Finals on Saturday, October 18
- USHJA Zone 3 Hunter and Jumper Championships on Sunday, October 19
- 14th Annual Laura Pickett Excellence in Horsemanship Award presented by Victoria Lowell and Charles Ancona. Registration opens September 17. Complete and submit the nomination form by 12 p.m. EDT on Sunday, October 19. The winner will be notified on Monday, October 20, and the award will be presented during WIHS MARS Barn Night presented by Walkenbach Equestrian on Thursday, October 23, at The Show Place Arena, in Upper Marlboro, MD.
