Donald Trump is known as a very successful businessman and entrepreneur. As of late, Donald Trump’s remarks during his announcement of his run for President of the United States has landed him in hot water with various ethnicities, countries, companies, and politicians.
Trump’s successful business ventures with Marc Bellissimo and Equestrian Sport Productions is something that Trump has always wanted to be apart of. Show Jumping events such as the Central Park Horse Show, the Trump Invitational, and the Winter Equestrian Festival are the most popular equine events that Trump has had an interest and involvement with.
Trump has said that he has always been a fan of the sport of showjumping and has wanted to be involved in the growth of the sport as a whole.
However, to Trump’s possible misunderstanding of the equine industry, he had failed to remember the role that Hispanics play in the sport of Show Jumping in North America as well as the rest of the world.
Will Trump’s public accusations regarding legal and illegal Hispanics lead to the equestrian “shut out” of Donald Trump? Or will they merely “let it slide”? Trump’s remarks have sparked a media-frenzy creating a love-hate relationship between Donald Trump and his following.
Will Donald Trump’s remarks be enough for Marc Bellissimo and Equestrian Sport Productions to join the ever-growing list of companies who have pulled the plug on him? Or will the equestrian industry look at Donald Trump as “too big of an asset to let go”?
