Kylie Jenner, the American reality television personality, socialite, model, fashion designer, and daughter of Olympian Bruce Jenner has started a media frenzy over the way she achieves her “full lips”. On a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the 17-year-old star was caught on camera going through the steps she uses to make her plump pout selfie-ready.
As for the exact way Kylie gets her famous lips, it appears she pinches and squeezes her lips until she’s achieved the perfect pout. She then lines and colors in her pucker with bold, dark lipstick.
Recently, teens have been trying to imitate the 17-year old star’s look by sucking their lips into a shot glass until their blood vessels burst and their lips literally explode.
As crazy and insane as that sounds, the teenie-bopper generation is not hesitant to risk permanent damage to their faces for a quick “lip fix”. As a matter of fact, it is so popular that kids are now calling it “The Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge”. Google it!
As we all know, our nation is a “lead by example” society, and many young teens want to be just like their idols. However, what people do not realize is that human beings are not the only ones who are victim to this type of “follow my lead” behavior, horses have been subject to this trend as well.
Just like people, horses have understanding, emotions, and they like to feel like they belong. There have been many cases involving horses sucking into their water buckets to get the “full lip” look that has been trending through the behavior of their human counterparts.
Kylie Jenner had little to say when we asked her how she felt about the issue regarding the horses and their ‘water bucket lips’, and she neglected to comment.
Doing the “Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge” has caused permanent damage to humans and horses alike. We would like to think that most would be smarter than to fall for such a scheme.
Just like humans, horses seek acceptance through socialization and they want to fit in with the in-crowd. Many older horses know that this is most likely a phase that the younger horses are going through, and that is just a part of growing up.
